The middle slot is the fuselage of the scraper conveyor, which is composed of the middle plate and the steel side of the trough. The upper trough carries coal and the lower trough is used for the return journey of the scraper chain. In the process of operation, it is subjected to the severe friction of coal, scraper and chain, which is the component with large usage and consumption.
The middle slot is formed by welding the side of the groove and the middle plate. The material used in the middle slot is mostly high manganese steel, characterized by high carbon, high manganese, good comprehensive strength and wear resistance. The scraper in the middle of the chain, especially the joint of the two groove wear fast, is the main reason for the middle groove scrap. At present, the corresponding measures to improve the wear resistance of the middle slot are as follows:
(1) Adopt high strength wear resistant steel.
(2) Surfacing the wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant alloy in a certain pattern at the chain, so that the scraper and the chain slide on the weld, away from the direct contact with the matrix of the medium plate.
(3) Deep boriding treatment is adopted in the chain, which not only improves the surface strength and hardness, but also has good red hardness and better corrosion resistance.
(4) Application of new materials.
(5) During installation and operation, make each section of the middle groove as smooth as possible.
